This policy explains how Hexar Studios (“we”, “us”) collects and uses personal data when you visit hexarstudios.com or contact us. Our registered studio address is Unit 806A, 8th Floor, Levana Cyber Heights, Vibhuti Khand, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh 226010, India. Contact: contact@hexarstudios.com.

Data we collect

  • Contact and quote forms: your name, work email, company, the service and budget you select, your message and the page you sent it from.
  • Meeting bookings: when you book a call through Google Calendar appointment scheduling, Google processes your name, email and chosen time and shares them with us.
  • WhatsApp and email: any information you choose to send when you message us.
  • Usage data: if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics 4 collects pseudonymous data such as pages viewed, device type, approximate location and referral source.

How we use it

  • To reply to enquiries, prepare quotes and schedule meetings.
  • To provide and manage services under a contract with you or your company.
  • To understand how the website is used and improve it.
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for automated decision-making.

Legal basis

We process personal data with your consent (for example analytics cookies), to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, to perform a contract, and for our legitimate interest in running and improving our business. Where the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India), the GDPR or the UK GDPR applies, we process data in line with those laws.

Who we share it with

Our hosting provider (GoDaddy), Google (Calendar, Meet and Analytics), Meta (WhatsApp) and our email provider, each acting as a processor or independent controller under their own terms. Some of these providers process data outside India, including in the United States.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a project are kept for up to 24 months. Client and project records are kept for as long as required by contract and law. Analytics data is retained for 14 months.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, withdraw consent, or object to processing by emailing contact@hexarstudios.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
